Daniel Lacroix, better known as the founder and manufacturer
of Skis LACROIX was originally a carpenter. Expert on gluing
and high tech materials, he has developed for over 30 years the
glue laminated log in wood construction.
Daniel LACROIX, originally cabinetmaker and carpenter, founded and developed
in the same time the LACROIX Skis company and the chalets & homes manufacture.
Since 1966, olympic year where Leo Lacroix won the world cup in Portillo, the chalets
are manufactured with glue lam logs, technic used to make skis before the plastic
and composite materials.
Lacroix skis have always been famous around the world for their high quality :
research of design, structural concept, curve calculus..., as many elements comparable
to construction assembling, resistance calculus, esthetic and functionality.
